If random chat isn't your style, IRC isn't for you. We've tried really restrictive rules and we've tried really open rules. Basically, the only real rule is "don't be a jackass."
I completely agree with this woman! I think we should make a more contemporary channel so grown adults can discuss cutesy Korean mmorpgs in peace, without the threat of links to guro and lolicon doujins being spammed everywhere.

Hey now, it's not everyone's cup of tea. But an apple is an apple and an orange is an orange. You don't bite into an apple and expect it to taste like an orange. We told you what the chat is like, and if that's not your sort of thing then the mature thing to do would not be to insult the chatters or talk down about the chat but simply to not go there. Your decision to proclaim your maturity and in doing so insulting people who do chat there, simply shows a LACK of maturity.
