Yeah, I think Obama has a real edge over McCain being as charismatic as he is.

I'm not american (duh), but I'm voting for no one.
Here's my reasons:
• They all lie.
• They're hard to believe.
• They're men, try believing them! (No offense)
• McCain can die of old age.
• Obama can ban all whites from america.
• Obama can get assassinated (Say hi to racist people!)]
I'd rather be a passive citizen than one of the causes of war.

Obama sells funny Obama merchandise like they can't use his real face due to technicalities, so they either use the back of his head and emphasize on his ears or a caricature of him.

There's already been an attempt on this. Police arrested 2 men that had acquired a sawed off shotgun and were planning to rob a gun store intent on killing 100 African-Americans finishing with Sen. Obama (source:CNN)
The President has some pretty crazy security surrounding him, though. As a former member of the US Air Force, I got to sit in with some of the Secret Service agents during a vice-presidential visit to Italy. It was surreal - like something you see out of all the "who shot the president" movies. Snipers were posted, everyone was in suits with their earpieces in - not one of them ever cracked a smile...

I early voted for Obama last Tuesday.
If Obama does not win, America is completely and utterly ****ed. If elected, McCain WILL start WW3. (He clearly has it out for Putin, making comments about KGB flashing in his eyes and whatnot, sang a song about bombing Iran, and outright said, and I quote: "They're not going to test me, I'm going to test them.")
And the possibility of President Sarah Palin..... Need I say more?

^^WW3 isn't going to come about from countries like Iran or Russia. They both to varying degrees lack the military strength and diplomatic standing.
I would have to argue Obama can't ban all white people from America o_o
dunno how serious you were on that one though~

From what I've seen this is a very scary thought indeed. McCain is up there in years and there is a significant chance.. or should I say risk... of this actually happening.

both have a sort of goals in their agenda. decrease taxes, health care, war, economy, school, etc... but there are major differences between obama and maccain.
Obama may not have been in the senate for long, but his plans are realistic and well thought through. he acts in a mature fashion and makes appropriate decisions. I don't know much about Biden but he has been through tough times like his fathers death and family troubles, from that he stands up for the little guy (middle class) and wants to help in a smart manor like Obama, and will make a good VP. I like Obama's/Biden's agenda, and i think they will get us out of the problems we are in now.
Maccain is the Maverick and lives up to his name. in countless times in his campaign he is constantly showing his aggression and immaturity (except for giving regards for the recent death of obama's grandmother) his agenda are reflected apon his personality, some of his plans are good but most are going to hinder us. another thing is that he picked Sarah Palin as his VP choice, in many times she has showed her stupidity and lack of knowledge on what is happening in the world now, if maccain is president and dies we are screwed, and i think she is just a guinea pig to maccain just to get the female votes. also even though Maccain is not as funded as Obama, he set a new bar in being pathetic when the most attention you are going to get is arriving on SNL. (even though he was funny)
Im not attacking Maccain/Sarah, but im showing the facts.
with their agenda I think there is a high chance of us getting screwed over even more if they win and I do not believe they are fit to become President and Vice.
and I think Obama and Biden will become a very successful President and Vice, for our sake.

In the interest of showing facts, I would have to remind you that Obama's plans are largely unrealistic. He is a master of what is called gray propaganda, defined by Jowett/O'Donnell as being aimed to convey a partial truth.
Specifically, his stated methods for getting funding for his programs are laughable.
McCain is also only 71 years old. Life expectancy is and has been 80+ for some time now, and it's even longer for the wealthy. I would say concerns about him dying in the next 4 years have been grossly overblown.

Hey guys - just a reminder. If you're going to debate another's viewpoint please make sure you debate the issue and don't let the argument degrade into ad hominem attacks.

well cheny almost died around 4 times (i think) and he is 67, compare that to Mccain, dieing due to his health problems and age is a possibility.
I would like to know what your resources to back up what you are saying about Obama.
no opinions please.
