Custom New Posts

Would it be possible to set up some preferences in our own account, to disable viewing of some forums/sub-forums in new posts? Like a checkbox, list or something? It'd just be more convenient for me, since I don't have to travel through 16 pages of new posts of (random..market..section) in order to view the new threads that I want to see and new posts in the threads I made (subscribed threads.)

I'll see what I can do on this but please don't expect anything in the near future. I can think of a way to do this but I'm concerned for the load the new queries will add.

This can be a blessing to the site and/or a curse.

It might divide the feature games up, including the members but on the other hand it will filter out the spam.
